Apologies from electors (names held by the Clerk).

  • Approval of Minutes of meeting held on 17th October 24.

The minutes had been circulated and were approved unanimously. They were signed by the Chair.

  • Vote of thanks

Vote of thanks was extended to Dyson Farming for the use of their facilities for our meeting. Vote of thanks was also expressed to everyone who had taken their time to attend the meeting and for the ongoing support shown to the parish meeting including both councillors present.

 

  • Appointing of officers

Louise Edney was unanimously re-appointed as Chair.

Lee Edney was unanimously re-appointed as Clerk.

  • Declaration of no accounts and no precept approval

 

Declaration of no accounts approved unanimously.

 

Motion setting WFPM precept at zero unanimously approved.

  • Electrical upgrades
    • Grimsby to Walpole – pylons and alternative options discussed.

 

  • Eastern Green Link 3 and 4 general update provided by both councillors.

 

  • Ossian Floating Wind Farm - Ossian are approaching local residents to establish land ownership before proceeding with underground cables.
  • Highways

 

Folly Lane and Stickney Lane disrepair issues discussed including damage allegedly caused by drivers of farming vehicles owned by a local company. Cllr Matthews offered to write to or visit the local company to discuss the issues.

 

The extreme erosion of the verges on Stickney Lane is now a real concern. A possibility of a weight limit on the road was discussed to help limit the size of vehicles and the related damage.

Latest planning applications reported to the meetings. No further comments made.

  • Any Other Business
    • Maintenance of notice board agreed.
    • West Fen sign on Folly Lane damaged (councillors aware).
    • Environmental Agency flooding leaflets distributed.
