- Approval of Minutes of meeting held on 20th March 23
The minutes of the previous meeting had been circulated and were approved unanimously. They were signed by the Chair.
- Vote of thanks
Vote of thanks was extended to Dyson Farming for the use of their facilities for our meeting.
- Declarations of Interest
Lee and Louise Edney and Tony Everall declared interest in both planning applications to be discussed on the agenda as their houses are next to both proposed sites.
- Viking Link
The latest leaflet was circulated and there followed a brief update and discussion on progress.
- Planning Applications
- S/203/00869/23 Erection of a timber (temporary) cabin for use by the owners only at weekends in connection with their fishing hobby.
- Awaiting decision.
- S/203/01294/22 Erection of 2no. houses each with detached double garage and stores, construction of a vehicular access and alterations to an existing vehicular access.
- It was reported to the meeting that this application was refused by ELDC and is now awaiting planning appeal decision.
- S/203/00283/23 Erection of a dwelling, installation of a ground mounted solar panel array and construction of a vehicular access.
- It was reported to the meeting that this application has been withdrawn by the applicant.
- Highways Update
- In the March meeting, Cllr Ashton had confirmed repairs to Folly Lane were approximately 2 years ahead in the schedule. Residents in the meeting noted that markings had been made to both North/South and East/West sections of the road earmarking sections in need of repair. The Clerk agreed to send Cllr Ashton an email in the hope that these markings can be used to their fullest.
- Litter Picking Equipment
Litter picking stick, hi-vis vest, bags and guidelines distributed to those who were interested.
- A.O.B
- There have been a recent spate of break ins with machinery and tools taken and ‘lock chopping’ without theft. Everyone was reminded to ensure home security is appropriate.
- Concern was raised over the dyke and culvert clearing at Hagnaby Lock end of WF particularly in light of the recent flooding.

- Date and time of next meeting
Preferred day of future meetings was discussed and decided that Thursday suits most people moving forward. Date and venue of next meeting to be confirmed nearer the time (end March - end June).
