Electors

6 electors plus the Clerk and the Chairperson (names held by the Clerk).

• Apologies

Apologies from Cllr Thomas Ashton and 4 electors.

• Approval of Minutes of meeting held on 16th May 24.

The minutes had been circulated and were approved unanimously. They were signed by the Chair.

• Vote of thanks

Vote of thanks was extended to Dyson Farming for the use of their facilities for our meeting.

• Declarations of Interest

None declared. Those present were reminded declarations of interest could be received at any point during the meeting.

• Electrical upgrades

The Chair read out an update from Cllr Ashton regarding electrical upgrades.

Discussion followed expressing concern. It was agreed the Clerk would contact Cllr Ashton and ask for guidance on any effective steps we can take.

• Planning Applications

No active applications.

• Any Other Business

Folly Lane – resurfacing work has been completed but immediate damage has been caused by the harvesting on the adjacent fields. Concern for the speed and the safety of the driving of the contractors was raised and everyone agreed that Cllr Ashton should be contacted to see if anything can be done in terms of damage to the road and to alleviate safety concerns for next year.

Same as this agenda and to include any update on Folly Lane.

• Date and time of next meeting

Next meeting to be held in Spring 2025. Date to be confirmed nearer the time.
